Forehead, Frown & Crow's Feet

The most common three areas  target fine lines and wrinkles in the upper face. By relaxing the target muscles most lines disappear and new ones are prevented from forming. Deeper lines that are still present at rest may soften but not fully go away. These are likely to soften over time if you continue to receive anti-wrinkle injections or they can also be treated with dermal fillers.

Downturned Mouth

A downturned mouth where the corners are being pulled down giving a sad expression can be treated by relaxing the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth downwards. Dermal fillers may also be advised to strengthen and uplift the oral commisure at the corner of the mouth or to the cheeks and mid face if there is volume loss.

Lips

The lips can also be subtly enhanced using botulinum toxin. Commonly known as a lip flip, small doses of toxin are placed in the muscle around the lips which cause the lips to evert slightly. This outward pull shows a small increase in the pink of the lip being shown giving a subtle enhancement.  This can also help to treat lipstick or smokers lines around the lips. Dermal fillers may also be advised to treat thes lines.

Gummy Smile

Smiles where a lot of gum is showing also known as a gummy smile can be very effectively treated by slighlty relaxing the muscle that pulls the top lip up.

Chin

A strong chin muscle can cause puckering and an orange peel effect. The overactive muscle here can be relaxed to smooth the skin.

Masseter

The masseter muscle is at the back of your jaw and the one that tenses when you clench your teeth. This is usually treated in women with an overactive masseter muscle which can get them a broader more masculine looking jawline. Relaxing this muscle over time will slim the jawline giving it a more feminine look.

Platysmal Bands

The platysmal bands are the vertical neck bands that can become more prominent with age. When treated with toxin these become less prominent and can give a  lift to the jawline.

Nefertiti Lift

Inspired by the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, toxin is used to lift the lower face, jawl and neck. This includes treatment of the platysmal bands along with toxin placed along the jawline.
